IMB Institute of Management Berlin
In 1992, the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL) became one of the first universities in Germany to offer postgraduate management education leading to an MBA run jointly with British partner universities. In 2004, all the postgraduate programmes were brought together within the legal entity of a Central Institute in the newly-created IMB Institute of Management Berlin, itself under the umbrella of the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
This structure allows for further expansion of competences as an innovative and quality-aware provider of postgraduate courses. The Institute's independent organisational form helps to ensure that those interested in further training courses can find IMB specialised programmes directed to the needs of future executive managers.
The IMB offers five accredited MBA programmes, three Master programmes and one programme leading to post-graduate certificate. The IMB's core competence is the MBA programme, and especially MBAs with different key themes.
