Requirements for Dual Degree:

The SWUFE Chengdu will confer the Chinese academic degree Master of Arts (MA) to non-Chinese students if the following conditions are fulfilled:

• the successful completion of the first study terms at the IMB at the HWR Berlin (1st and 2nd term) as well as the 3rd and 4th term at the SWUFE Chengdu;
• the registration at the SWUFE Chengdu throughout the whole 2-years Master´s Programme;
• the completion of the special course on Chinese history and area studies at the SWUFE Chengdu;
• the submission of the Masters Thesis in English and an abstract in Chinese;
• oral defense of the Master´s Thesis in front of a SWUFE examination board

The conferral of the Chinese academic Master degree by the SWUFE Chengdu to Chinese participants of the MA CEEBS programme is subject to special regulations within the Chinese legal framework.
