“Multicultural Encounters“
The Berlin MBA in European-Asian Management prepares for leadership or consulting roles in organisations which operate in a European-Asian context. All courses are taught in English at the IMB in Berlin and at international partner institutions.
The students on this pathway come roughly equally from Asian and Western countries and have already gained initial experience in responsible positions in industry and commerce. The vast majority of our more than two hundred European-Asian graduates since 1998 have already significantly moved up their chosen career ladders.
- International student group with balanced mix of Asian and European students
- Study visit with company tours to European capital (in the past: Paris, London, Copenhagen, Prague)
- Integrated study visit to Asian business metropolis (Hong Kong)
- Third study visit possible (America)
- Company project in European or Asian company
Structure
The study programme has a length of 15 months and is divided into three semesters: In the first semester (September – January) core courses are being taught, the second semester (February – June) contains advanced, specialization and elective courses. During both of the first two semesters seminars for the development of leadership skills are held as well as study visits and practical guest lectures. The essential range of topics of an international MBA scheme are supplemented with important aspects of Asian and Pacific economic developments. The third semester is reserved for the thesis which is performed as a company project. All modules together are worth a total of 90 credits points.
