Kick-Off Berlin MBA Full-time

On 17 September our new MBA Full-time students from 24 different nations all accross the globe started their journey on the Berlin MBA programme at the IMB Institute of Management Berlin.
MBA in Transatlantic Management goes "Big Apple"
Students studying on the international MBA programme at the IMB of the Berlin School of Economics and Law undertook a study visit to New York between 6 and 11 May 2012. Working together with Baruch College, the students participated in seminars covering "Supply Chain Management", "Online Advertising" and "Business Law." In a number of corporate visits to the FMC Corp., Seeking Alpha, Inc., Undertone, Inc, Amnesty International USA, the UN Development Program, the German American Chamber of Commerce and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the students were able to conduct a range of discussions touching on topics of economics and transatlantic relations, thus gaining an important insight into the everyday work of the international organizations involved.
Global Sourcing a Key Topic During Study Visit of Kingston University London
[Translate to english:] MBA students from the Kingston University London visited the IMB and discussed international management topics with Berlin MBA students. Key speaker of the one-day MBA workshop was Olivier Courette, Head of the Global Sourcing Group of Bombardier Transportation. His input on global sourcing markets and intercultural challenges was the catalyst for vivid discussions. Further class discussions on transatlantic business opportunites as well as company visits, among them an evening visit to a brewery, completed the interesting three-day study visit.
