Master programmes

Furthermore the IMB offers four international Master's programmes:

The Master in International Business Management has a strongly international focus. Building on a knowledge of basic concepts, theories and applied business administration, the programme develops a comprehensive understanding of international management. This takes into account both strategic and operative aspects – and focuses on a project-based and applied approach.

The intercultural programme Chinese-European Economics and Business Studies provides students with key insights into major aspects of economic development in China and Europe. The skills taught include analyses of specific aspects of trade relations and financial flows, and an understanding of the social and economic interrelations between these two geo-political regions.

The Master programme Sustainability and Quality Management aims to emerge specific competences in modern business management with main focus on Environmental and Quality Management and within the approach of sustainable development. This part-time study programme extends over two years and takes place at two evenings a week and several blocked seminars in German.

The Master in Financial and Managerial Accounting is the first study export of the IMB. It is offered at two universities in Vietnam and primarily designed for Vietnamese Bachelor graduates who would like to study for a post-graduate degree awarded by a renowned German university. The programme takes an international approach to combining theory and practice in providing broad business administration skills focused on international financial reporting standards as well as on managerial accounting.

The Master programme Labour Policies and Globalisation is a 1-year MA programme on Sustainable Development, Social Justice, International Labour Standards and Trade Unions.  For detailed information see: www.global-labour-university.org
