The IMB Institute of Management Berlin MBA
Our full-time MBA provision is an MBA in International Management. It is particularly suitable for graduates and young professionals who have gained first experience in business and wish to strengthen their leadership skills to prepare thoroughly for international management positions. The first stage of the programme lays the common ground for general international management. The programme specializations in the second stage are focusing on different regions in the world, facilitating respective career options.
“A Capital Experience“ – Our campus in Berlin is the home base during the first programme stage. In the second stage students will also travel to other European capitals for study visits and company tours. An integrated course is held in London. Our current students also visit Paris and some of them Copenhagen. Central European capitals like Prague and Warsaw have been or are planned to be further destinations.
European-Asian Management
“Multicultural Encounters” – Our truly international mix of students provides the setting for intense intercultural experiences. Approximately one half of the student body is recruited from Asian countries, the other half from across Europe. After the first stage of studies in Berlin students will focus on electives and European-Asian management issues. They will participate in a European study visit and may also travel to the Asian metropolis of Hongkong.
Transatlantic Management
“Connecting the World” – The United States of America are the birthplace of MBA studies. American faculty from our school as well as from partner universities teach our students in international business issues. The transatlantic dimension is covered in the second stage of the programme. The mandatory European study visit is complemented by a possible trip to America. This year’s cohort will visit New York City.
